ST LOUIS, Mo. – After three days of top adult club competition in St Louis, Mo., Olympic Club and Lone Star FHC were crowned the 2026 Women’s and Men’s United States Field Hockey League (USFHL) National Club Champions!!
Women’s Division: Olympic Club Wins Their 4th National Title
History was made in the women’s division with Olympic Club being the first adult club to claim 4 national titles since the event was sanctioned in 2019! They won this year’s edition with a dominant 5-win performance through closely contested matches: winning their pool in a shootout tiebreaker, beating the reigning champions and #1 ranked Atlanta FHC in the semi-final, and clinching the final with a late 4th quarter goal against Washington FHA to come out on top 1-0.
Three clubs have dominated the past five years of competition with Olympic Club, Washington FHA, or Atlanta FHC playing in every final and accounting for every gold and silver medal since 2022, representing post-collegiate talent across the country. This year was no exception as two of these teams competed in the final, and they all finished 1-2-3: Olympic Club (Gold), Washington FHA (Silver), and Atlanta FHC (Bronze).
While these clubs continue to finish on top, the competition between the elite women’s teams gets closer every year. Philly Premier held Olympic Club and Washington FHA to one-goal margins in pool play and Charlotte Ambush fell to both Washington FHA in the semi-final and Atlanta FHC in the bronze medal match in tight shootout victories. We look forward to seeing these clubs and new clubs continue to elevate the competition each year and challenge the current perennial powerhouses!
Olympic Club’s Agustina Singh was selected by her opponents and umpires as MVP of the Tournament for her performance throughout the weekend. Agustina is an Argentinian native and played Division 1 at UC Davis, where she started 69 games, was a team captain, and received multiple recognitions during her career including America East All-Conference First Team. She is now a Senior Operations Manager at RSF Social Finance in San Francisco, CA.

Men’s Division: Lone Star FHC Crowned Undefeated Champions
The men’s division was decided through a six-team pool play competition with Lone Star FHC winning all five of their games to finish 5-0-0 and clinch their first ever National Championship! Lone Star has been a championship contender and medalist every year since their first NCC in 2021, finishing second or third in the nation for each of the past five years and entering this past weekend ranked #3 in the US.
Lone Star finally unseated the reigning champions and #1 ranked dcDragons on the first day of competition with a reverse chip game-winning goal to pull ahead 2-1 in Q4. The game ended up being the de-facto championship match as both teams went undefeated through the rest of the weekend. dcDragons finished second and also picked up their sixth medal in six years while Atlanta FHC picked up their first ever men’s medal at NCC, finishing in third place with narrow one-goal margin losses to the top two teams and a decisive 2-0 final victory on Sunday over fourth-placed SoCal Strikers.
The men’s division was a great spread of veteran and rising clubs with the three recent champions (Lone Star 2026, dcDragons 2025, and Greenwich 2024) competing against three clubs that only have a handful of NCC appearances between them. The men’s competition gets more fierce each year, and we are excited to see the rising level of club talent for Men’s field hockey in the United States!
Lone Star’s Ronan Taggart was selected by his opponents and umpires as MVP of the Tournament on the men’s side. Ronan is from Great Britain and competed on the Wales Men’s National Team in multiple European Hockey League (EHL) & EuroHockey events. He has over a decade of elite coaching experience in England and is now an Elite Performance Hockey Coach & Academy Director at Leap Hockey in Dallas, TX.
